We aim to televise the tales that were once whispered, and to advocate for the once unruly. For after all, well behaved women seldom make history.

This account began as a way to share our thoughts, analyses,and random ramblings about historical works and individuals that continue to influence art, culture and society today. We want to shed light on stories of people who defied convention throughout history, often at their own expense.
Throughout these articles, we plan to unveil the motivations, impacts, and legacies of those ‘contrarian’ figures who may have fallen out of the limelight of school curriculums and modern culture.
